Pasta ManThis is Pasta Man from my food series. This is my email friend Nigel Hobday, from England. I told him I wanted to do a food ilustration for the starch group,and he emailed me a photo of him eating and asked me to use it. The drawing is eighteen by twenty-four inches on Aquabee Bristol Pad, Plate Finish paper, colored with Berol Prismacolor pencils. A drawing like this takes over 100 hours to complete. All those flying pastas took forever to color. This, plus Veggie Woman and Dairy Man, were shot as slides, scanned in, then put together to create a self-promotional poster, Captain Cracker And The Hard Cheeses. There are no horizontal lines on the scans used for the poster, that is for sale. |
