This is Veggie Woman from my food series. The drawing is eighteen by twenty-four inches on Aquabee Bristol Pad, Plate finish paper, colored with Berol Prismacolor pencils.
A drawing like this takes over 100 hours to complete. That slice of tomato was particularly difficult to get the shading just right. This, plus Pasta Man and Dairy Man, were shot as slides, scanned in, then put together to create a self-promotional poster, Captain Cracker And The Hard Cheeses.
