Return To South Africa Hand Painted CakeThis cake is a double layer cake. The illustrations are hand painted on edible wafer paper. This allows for finer detail. Also, it can be painted in advance as it wont get stale.I used photos from my April 2004 trip to South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe for this cake. This cake was $35. 
The cheetah was in Chiefs Camp, in Botswana, in the Okevango Delta. |

This is a Fishing Eagle. A large raptor, they have been known to carry off and eat human infants.
